The CRTF0703LF from Matco-Norca is a 1-1/2" Sweat x 1-1/2" Sweat x 1/2" FPT (FIP) cast brass tee (side x side x center). It allows to connect a 1/2" male threaded pipe, valve or nipple to a 1-1/2" copper line. This fitting is commonly used in expansion tank or air vent installation, as well as to provide convenient means of installing an in-line drain valve or a temperature/pressure gauge.
