Powerful & heavy duty 1/3 hp motor, the S38 pump offers larger clearances around the impeller for better solids and debris handling. Turn-on level 12' and Turn-off level 3.5' for this pump. Caution: Maximum temperature for working fluid of this pump is 140-F (or 60-C).Able to handle solids up to 1/4', the sump pump comes with a piggy back wide angle float switch that allows it have higher intake screening for the reduction of debris trying to get inside the pump, compared to m all bottom suction designs. This pump comes with two cords. One is for the switch and the other is to connect to the pump motor. Designed to deal with problem areas of sump pumps during new construction, this series of pumps can operate manually or automatically by bypassing the switch in its entirety.
