Cherne Gripper mechanical plug for 3-1/2" MIP threaded cleanouts or test tees. Patented threaded O-ring on the Gripper expands once the steel nut is rotated clockwise, sealing all types of threads - new, worn-out or rusted. Compatible with all standard threaded cleanouts - PVC/ABS, cast iron, etc. Max back pressure is 17 psi / 40ft of head.
