Manufactured by Rifeng this Oxygen Barrier PEX Tubing is widely known for its easy installation methods, and valuable features such as flexibility, durability, chlorine resistance, and corrosion resistance. Oxygen Barrier PEX tubing is produced with an external coating knows as the EVOH. This coating allows for the tubing to be used in heating systems where it will prevent oxygen permeation, which would eventually lead to the corrosion of corrosion sensitive materials. This PEX-B tubing is compatible with a variety of PEX connections including crimp, clamp, push-fit, speed-fit, and compression. Manufactured to the ASTM F867/F877 and CSA B137.5 standards this tubing is also certified by the NSF. This tubing should be used in hydronic or radiant heating systems, ice melting systems, and outdoor wood boiler applications. This product is not certified for use with potable water systems.
