Complying with all the standards set by the ASTM F867/F877 and CSA B137.5; this Oxygen Barrier PEX Tubing manufactured by Rifeng is also certified by the NSF. This product is recommended for use in hydronic heating systems, radiant heating systems, ice melting systems, snow melting systems, and outdoor wood boiler applications. Oxygen Barrier tubing is not suitable for potable water systems. PEX tubing is widely used for its advanced features such as its durability, extreme flexibility, and high chlorine and corrosion resistance. Oxygen Barrier PEX Piping is produced with an external coating most commonly know as EVOH. This coating enables the tubing to be used in heating systems where it will prevent oxygen permeation, and further protect the system and its components from corrosion. This PEX-B tubing is compatible with numerous connection methods such as crimp, clamp, push-fit, speed-fit, and compression.
